COVID-19 Impacted Event Status

An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any place where people gather. COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death. You assume all risks, hazards, and dangers arising from or relating in any way to the risk of contracting a communicable disease or illness—including, without limitation, exposure to COVID-19 or any other bacteria, virus, or other pathogen capable of causing a communicable disease or illness, whether that exposure occurs before, during, or after the event, and regardless of how caused or contracted—and you hereby waive any and all claims and potential claims against Sharks Sports & Entertainment LLC, San Jose Arena Management, LLC, and each of their affiliates, subsidiaries, employees, directors, officers, and agents relating to such risks, hazards, and dangers.

 

All attendees of events at SAP Center taking place from June 15 through October 1, 2021 MUST be verified as fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or have a negative COVID-19 test result within 72 hours of the event. Full vaccination occurs two weeks after the final dose of COVID-19 vaccine. PCR and antigen tests are acceptable. Attendees may verify their vaccination status by showing their vaccination card, a photo of their vaccination card, documentation from a healthcare provider, or self-attestation prior to entry. An attendee’s negative COVID-19 test result may be verified by printed document from test provider or laboratory, email or text of the result from the test provider or laboratory, or self-attestation prior to entry. All attendees MUST follow CDPH Guidance for Face Coverings.”

 

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are working diligently with event producers and league officials to reschedule as many events as possible for future dates. The safety of our fans, guests and partners is of the utmost importance. Sharks Sports & Entertainment and SAP Center management greatly appreciate your understanding during this unprecedented time.

 

For events that cannot be rescheduled, tickets that were ordered online or over the phone with Ticketmaster will be automatically refunded to the original purchaser's credit card. For all tickets purchased at The LexisNexis Risk Solutions Ticket Office, the ticket office is open 10am-5pm (please note that all dates and times are subject to change).

For the safety of our guests and our team members, we ask that all guests visiting SAP Center for a refund wear a facial covering.  Those guests not wearing facial coverings will not be permitted to cue in line at the Ticket Office.  While cuing, please follow the direction of the attendant and remain 6 feet away from other guests and team members. All team members working at SAP Center will have been administered a temperature check and have passed a health question screening.

 

If you are feeling ill or have a fever, please wait at least 14 days prior to coming to SAP Center to have your refund processed.  We will be happy to assist you at that time.

My event has been postponed/rescheduled. What do I do with my current tickets?

For rescheduled events we ask that you hold onto your original tickets as they will be valid for the newly scheduled date. There is no need to reprint with new event date. 

My event has been cancelled. How do I receive a refund?

If your event has been cancelled you will automatically receive a refund to your credit card from Ticketmaster. It’s Ticketmaster’s standing policy to automatically refund the full cost of the ticket and fees to the original purchaser’s method of payment used at time of purchase. For any canceled events, due to the unprecedented volume of cancelations, please note that you should expect to receive your refund in as soon as 30 days.

My event was postponed or rescheduled but I am unable to attend the new date.

If your event was postponed or rescheduled and you are unable to attend (and resale is enabled for your event), you can sell your tickets to other fans on Ticketmasters safe and simple Ticketmaster resale marketplace. If refunds are not allowed for your event and you post through ticketmaster.com, Ticketmaster will waive seller fees for fans that create(d) resale postings from March 17 through May 31.

How do I receive a refund for tickets which I purchased from Ticketmaster.com?

For shows which have been canceled, refunds will be processed automatically by Ticketmaster, as soon as 30 days after the announcement.

For shows which have been postponed/rescheduled, please visit Ticketmaster’s website where you will, if applicable, see and be able to select those options. If you run into any issues you can select chat from within your account and chat with a live agent.

How do I receive a refund for tickets purchased at The LexisNexis Risk Solutions Ticket Office?

For all tickets purchased at The LexisNexis Risk Solutions Ticket Office, the ticket office is open 10am-3pm on the following days for refunds only (please note that all dates and times are subject to change):

Friday March 26, Saturday March 27, Friday April 2, and Saturday April 3.

You will need to bring the following to complete a return:

  • Original tickets
  • Photo ID
  • Credit Card used for the purchase (If applicable)

Note: It will take 7-10 business days with most banks for your refund to be created back into your account.

If you have lost your credit card that was used for the purchase, please bring the replacement card, along with any supporting documentation from the original card. If this is not possible, please visit any of the LexisNexis Ticket Office windows for more information during the hours of operation.    

I purchased tickets from a secondary or resale website, where can I get my refund?

Any transactions conducted through a thirdparty website, e.g., StubHub, SeatGeek, Gametime, Vivid Seats, etc. will be managed according to their company’s policies and handled directly through their customer service teams.

Where can I purchase tickets?

Currently all sales are being conducted through https://www.ticketmaster.com. LexisNexis Risk Solutions Ticket Office will resume sales at a later date.
