SAP Center to host first-ever Golden State Valkyries WNBA playoff game

SAP Center at San Jose is pleased to host the first-ever Golden State Valkyries WNBA playoff game on either Sept. 16 or 17. Ticket information will be released in the coming week. The Valkyries join an impressive list of basketball teams that have called SAP Center home including the Golden State Warriors of the NBA (1996-97), San Jose Lasers of the ABL (1996-1998), and the world-famous Harlem Globetrotters (multiple years). Additionally, SAP Center has hosted numerous college basketball events in years past including the NCAA Men’s Division I Basketball Tournament (1997, 2002, 2007, 2010, 2013, 2017, 2019 and again in 2026), the NCAA Women’s Final Four (1999), the Pac-10 Women’s Basketball Tournament (2003-2008), the Cable Car Classic (1994 -1999), the Pete Newell Challenge (2006), and the San Jose Tip-Off (2024).
