Public Transportation and Bicycle Parking

We encourage you to bike to SAP Center as we provide a secure location to park your bicycle. Complimentary bike parking is available on Barack Obama Blvd. Please provide your own locking mechanism.

The VTA (Valley Transit Authority) buses service the Diridon Station. The VTA Vasona Light Rail also serves SAP Center at San Jose area with a light rail station near Diridon Station and on San Fernando Street at Delmas Avenue. The Vasona Light Rail service connects Campbell to SAP Center at San Jose and beyond to downtown, north to Mountain View, and south to Santa Teresa.

With the San Jose Diridon Caltrain Station located just across the street from SAP Center at San Jose,  San Jose Sharks fans and concertgoers can leave the driving to Caltrain. 

Please check the weekday and weekend train schedules for service to and from SAP Center for all home games and concerts.

Weekday Service: Last two trains departs San Jose Diridon at 10:30 p.m. and 11:12 p.m. Trains will not hold should the game or concert go longer than expected. 

Weekend events/closures, Caltrain recommends using alternative transportation options due to weekend service shutdowns in October. Visit caltrain.com/status for more information. We encourage riders to plan ahead and consider using transit apps like Google/Apple Maps or the Transit App.

On regular weekends, train 277 is scheduled to depart San Jose Diridon station is at 10:19 p.m. Occasionally, it may be held for Sharks fans and will depart no later than 10:30 p.m. 

NOTE:

Parking restrictions at San Jose for SAP Events. Caltrain Monthly and Daily parking permits aren't valid when the SAP Center is managing the lots. Caltrain customers already parked before the SAP Center rates go into effect aren't impacted by the higher rate. The SAP Center rates begin approximately two-and-a-half hours before SAP Center events; however, the higher prices can't start before 9 a.m. on weekdays.

The Altamont Corridor Express (ACE) train service carries passengers to San Jose’s Diridon Station from Stockton, Tracy, Livermore, Pleasanton, Fremont, and Santa Clara.

Diridon Station from Auburn, Rocklin, Roseville, Sacramento, Davis, Suisun/Fairfield, Martinez, Richmond, Berkeley, Emeryville, Oakland, Hayward, and Fremont/Centerville.
